I’m rounding out this 2nd week of midterms with some exhaustion and a serious up in my makeup skills as I pretend to not look like a caffeine-driven zombie. I started out this week spending some time in my favourite tea shop with the boo doing some homework, continued doing even more homework and beginning essays, and ended it in full-bloom essay writing and not nearly enough green tea in my system. So, as you can tell, it’s been a real midterms week.
This week’s favourites focus on the essentials – and the rewards – of midterms week. And even though each term is different, these five favourites can be applied every term. So let’s check them out!Read More
Hiya Enthusiasts! It’s Song Saturday for Everyday Enthusiasm and what better way to kick this off than reviewing iTunes Top 10 Songs this week? I’m a music buff, I won’t lie, and I think it’s time I reviewed some music that isn’t my favourite. Let’s see what happened…Read More
As I look at my calendar I notice that midterms are coming, and that means there are projects and tests galore. And as someone who loves to listen to a good tune while strapped down with my laptop and class notes, I figured it was time I put together a playlist for midterm studying. And who better to share it with than you guys?

Uptown Funk – Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars
Hola Enthusiasts! I am back and in action after a seriously awesome vacation! My face broke out, I gained weight from onion rings, and my feet hurt from so much walking. So you know it was a good holiday!
If you live under a rock, you may be unaware of where I’ve been the past few days: LA. My bestest buddies and I decided (okay, there were 9 months of planning) to head down to LA for a few days of intense awesomeness. There was making enemies with fangirls, seeing a handful of amazing artists in six hours, and spending way too much time in airports. Pretty much the perfect vacation, huh? So, in true Musing Mondays fashion, I am going to be reflecting on this wondrous holiday in a play-by-play of my LA trip. (Warning: this post is ridiculously full of info, so sorry in advance for writing a novel. I promise it’s in equal awesomeness to Hunger Games.)
Cali Trip 2k14
(aka, the time I spent a lot of time with attractive boys on stage)
Wednesday was the day it all kicked off! A 3am wake up call started the day for a car trip with the ever favourite Alex. The morning was uneventful, unless you count me kneeling in a dress scrambling to find my plastic liquids bag, or the TSA agent delivering me my scarf in a doggie bowl.
I forgot my scarf at TSA and they brought it to me in a little bowl #princess
Hiya Enthusiasts! It’s finally the weekend! I’ve had such a fantastic week, but I’m definitely ready to get some Saturday snoozies in. And of course that means I need some good tunes to fall asleep to!
In honour of my seeing One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer mere days ago, this week’s Song Saturday is going to be my top five songs from each in hopes of turning you all into fans. Enjoy!Read More
Whoo! It’s Friday of a fantastic week! I have once again compiled a list of favourites and it’s time to share with you! This week has been hectic with getting everything ready, packing, and traveling to California, so know that these favourites are what is keeping me sane!
Morgan’s Friday Favourites
As you know from this post, I am now test-driving a vegetarian lifestyle. When I was a young ‘un, my mother would make Boca burgers for me and I just loved them. And since I am going for that veggie life, these are the perfect way to get my burger on without consuming any meat. They are delicious and I’ve even turned a few of my friends onto them. I like to eat them for lunch with a sandwich thin (it’s a kind of bread), some cheese, spinach, and ketchup. Bon appétit!Read More
It’s time for my March guest post! I have been building up the excitement for this for a week or so now and I am so excited to finally share it! This month I am excited to bring you Haley from Her Mirror! Haley is a new friend on the blogging scene, but I have grown incredibly close to her in such a short time! She is my Blogging Little Sis and it’s been amazing working together with her on this post. You’ll learn quickly while reading this that we have a lot in common. I know you will all fall in love with her as you read, so make sure to leave her super sweet feedback! So, here’s Haley, the fabulous March guest blogger about to grace your screen!
I’ve talked about this album a lot (because I’m borderline obsessed with it) and am constantly telling my friends which songs I love. So when my friend suggested I do a review of One Direction’s new album “Midnight Memories,” well, I just couldn’t resist. So here is my review of their new album!
1. Best Song Ever
The title says it all. It is the best song ever. It’s catchy and fun and a great song for just letting go over the summer. It’s almost impossible to not just start dancing when this song comes over the speakers. Each verse has some funny memorable line and the chorus is catchy. It is typical boy band, but let’s face it, that’s what they are and that’s part of the reason we like them. It’s hard not to like boy bands. This song is just adorable and fun.
Let’s talk about music. We all have different tastes. Only the other day I posted in the Facebook group for my freshman class what kind of music everyone likes and no two people had the same answers. We are all attracted to different genres and voices and lyrics. And so I thought today I’d share with you some music that I love that I think you might like too.
I Listen to a Lot of British Artists: A Musical Compositon
If you don’t love Adele, I don’t want to breathe the same air as you. She has more soul than I thought was possible and her music is beautiful.
This man just makes the best music. My friend Kelsi and I will play his station on Slacker whenever we go on long drives. Andy makes catchy music that has a great message.
