Morgan. 21. Blogger. Enthusiast. Writer. Anglophile. Potato.
On January 1, 2011 I had a stroke of genius. Why not start a blog about the things I love and talk about them with a community of people? Thus the start of what would become The Enthusiast.
As for me, Morgan, here is my story: A recent Journalism graduate of the University of Oregon, I spend much of my time discussing current events, drinking bubble tea, and writing about anything and everything. Not to mention tweeting as if I am getting paid. If I’m not at home, you will most likely find me at the cinema watching either an Indie film or something with a cute love interest.
This blog is a compilation of my interests (and I get interested in almost anything. If you don’t believe me, ask my friends) and my life. I am a firm believer that life is about trying everything once, and I stick to that. Here are some examples:
I once snuck into the building where they filmed “High School Musical” and I would have gotten away with it if the principal hadn’t asked us if we were students.
I have attended at least two big name concerts a year for the last four years.
I once pet a Swiss cow and it moo’d at me.
In May 2014 I cut five inches off of my hair and ombre’d it. It took two full years for all of the bleached hair to finally leave my locks.
And those are only some of the insane things that have happened on this blog’s journey.
If you like what you’ve read so far, subscribe (the cute widget in the side bar will do it). I will not disappoint. This blog is about having fun and discussing what is important/entertaining and just being a generally great place to hang out. So, what do you say, will you be an Enthusiast?
Stay classy, reader,

I am also a contributing writer for The Huffington Post, writing editorial pieces mostly including Seamus Finnegan and “Frozen.”
I was a contributing writer for Her Campus, the #1 website for college women, and write articles regularly for them.
On March 31, 2014, USA TODAY published an article that I wrote.
