Favourites Friday No. 107

With Valentine’s love behind us, and a rainy weekend ahead, I’m excited to enjoy this mild weather Friday and reflect on the good and bad of the week.

Valentine’s Day can be so rough for people, but I saw so many messages of self-love and care that it really was a positive day. I enjoyed some pasta and cake and a lovely bubble bath. Sometimes it’s reflecting on ourselves that brings the most love into our lives.

And with that said, I always think of what my mom says about Valentine’s Day. “It isn’t what people do today, but what they do every other day of the year.” May we continue to spread love in this world for the rest of 2018!

Spreading Love: A Favourites Friday

L’Oreal Face Masks

One of the best ways to practice self-love is a face mask. I’m very partial to L’Oreal’s new line of clay face masks. So much so that I bought three {blue, pink, grey}. They glide on so smooth and I’ve noticed a difference in my skin {smoother, clearer, softer}. I’m very partial to the blue mask for its texture and the amazing electric blue colour.

I am finally watching this show, and it is everything I’ve been missing. As a person with OCD, I completely understand it, and I love the crime aspect of it. It has become my new “me time” show and I’m so glad to have found it.

I bought this top on a whim last weekend, but now I don’t think I’ll ever take it off. Not only is it extremely comfortable, but I love how versatile it is with my wardrobe. Pair it with jeans and sneakers, leggings and boots, or my personal favourite, sweats. Plan on seeing it on me a lot more in the future.

Going to barre3 has been a highlight of my week

Last weekend I took my first barre class, and I love it! I’ve considered taking a class for over a year now, and now I know it’s a great low-impact workout that you can feel working. After class {and the rest of the day} I felt energetic and ready to take on the world. I’ll definitely be doing more barre in the future!

I’m looking forward to catching up with friends {old and new} this weekend, plus doing all the chores I’ve been procrastinating. What are your weekend plans?
