7 Sweaters For Fall

This week the weather took a full swing and I’ve traded my lemonade and shorts for sweaters and hot tea. It’s bliss.

Fall will always be my favourite season. And as I slowly enjoy the onslaught of rain we’ve been blessed with the past two days, planning out my wardrobe has been a joy. It is the time for cuddly sweaters, thick socks, and boots, boots, boots!

Today I thought I’d share a few sweaters I have my eye on for this autumn.

The Perfect Fall Sweaters

1. J.Crew Fringe Sweater

I love the unexpected fringe on the sleeves, it just gives the sweater a flirty edge. I could definitely see myself pairing this with jeans and boots all fall long.

2. Madewell Crossback Sweater

There’s something about a crossback that is so simple yet elegant. The design of this sweater makes it perfect for pairing with anything, but the back reminds us it is more than your average crewneck. And they flow perfectly over your unwanted love handles.

3. Volcom Wrap Sweater

The older I get the more I appreciate a great oversized cardigan. This is perfect for wearing to the office or out with friends or to the airport or just about anything imaginable. That kind of versatility makes it a necessity for adding to your closet.

4. Everlane Chunky Sweater

Chunky sweaters are kind of my thing. Something that can easily be added over jeans or leggings and look put together. The millennial pink colour makes it very on trend, but the cut is flattering. This is the kind of sweater that will stay around for a while, and can be dressed up and down.

5. J.Crew Polka Sweater

We all need a good twinset in our lives. And while this set is more summery, a twinset paired with black jeans and riding boots is great for any autumn outing. And the glittery dots on this sweater make it that little extra special, because you’re worth it.

6. J.Crew 1988 Sweater

It’s stripes on wool, need I say more? This classic J.Crew style is exactly what we all need for pulling on cropped jeans, loafers, and our favourite bomber jacket.

7. Ripcurl CrissCross Sweater

This crisscross style neck is very on trend currently and I like it. It’s visually interesting and adds a little bit of femininity to any outfit. Even a pair of leggings and canvas shoes would look pulled together for brunch. And who can say no to such little effort? Plus, that colour just screams fall!

I hope all of you are staying safe. With more and more sad news following us around, each of you are in my prayers.

Stay classy, Internet,

morgan
