Favourites Friday No.88

Finally made it to Friday! It has been a crazy week {anyone who has done public work will understand} but I am looking forward to the weekend.

This week tested my patience, with an onslaught of work and projects coming at a quick pace, with little time to get them all finished. At one point I was sat in a meeting – my heart pounding – wondering if I had remembered to fill out every line on my bid. This amount of worry reminded me why I work hard to be on top so that I don’t have those worries. And it definitely stepped up my work ethic for the rest of the week!

Waiting for the Weekend: A Favourites Friday

1. Topgolf

This week I had the awesome opportunity to attend a marketing event at Topgolf. I’d never been before, but had a really great time hitting balls and munching on appetizers. As a professional golfer’s daughter, golf is a big part of my life, and while I’m a bit more rusty than I thought, I did get third place!

2. Franck Provost 3-in-1 Oil

Even though it has cooled down in Portland, the dry air has continued to make my hair feel ick. After trying out this oil a few months ago, I continue to use it because it truly does provide my hair the moisture and shine it needs to look good. The trick is to apply before blowdrying and after styling.

3. Kombucha

I’m currently on this weird health kick where I’m all about my omega-3’s and probiotics and kale and the latest addition has been kombucha. I was surprised at how much I like it, and my body is pretty happy with this healthier new lifestyle.

4. Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion

I’ve heard about this lotion ever since it came out and it always seemed too good to be true. But watching how dried out my skin has gotten {and the fact I never feel like putting on lotion once I get out of the shower} I figured I’d give it a go. I love it! Leaves my skin feeling hydrated and non-sticky, and takes less time than putting on lotion. 10/10 would recommend.

5. Teen Wolf

I remember when this show first came out and I was way into it. And then I stopped watching because the whole mythical create/high schooler hybrid was getting old. Well, I’m into it now! Already on season 2 and I can officially count myself as old because all my comments are, “You all are too young for any of this.”

Stay classy, Internet,
