Favourites Friday No.78

After several weeks of busy schedules, and weekends of traveling, I am finally done with a long stretch of zero relaxing. All I plan to do for the next two days is sit on my sofa, drink iced tea, and enjoy life.

This past week was quite a roller coaster. Starting out with a beautiful tour of Oregon wine country and ending with scheduling more meetings than I thought possible, I am always thankful for getting through.

Here’s to the end of crazy weeks, and the beginning of relaxation!

Goodbye Busy Weeks: A Favourites Friday

1. Embrace Oregon

My gorgeous tour of Oregon wine country (McMinville, Newborn, and surrounding areas) was hosted by Embrace Oregon. Sherry was such a delight and I had a great time trying new wines. If you’re looking for a recommendation, I fell in love with Bell’s Up¬†2013 Titan Pinot Noir. If you get a bottle, tell them Morgan sent you!

2. Pixi by Petra Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Plum Quartz

This eyeshadow palette was my go-to this week. I fell in love with the pigmentation, and how the gorgeous pink/purple hues look natural, while still playing up my eyes. I was able to use this palette every day this week no matter what I was wearing, from a yellow shift dress to a magenta jacket, I loved it.

3. Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow

So, I may have done something really stupid, and while grooming my brows this week I accidentally chopped off a little bit of the middle of my right brow. While it isn’t the end of the world, my brows have taken more maintenance than usual. That’s why I’ve been loving Benefit’s brow gel, as it fills in the hairs with fibers. No one has noticed my little mishap, and my brows still look full.

4. Old Navy Pointed Suede Flat

When it comes to weeks full of meetings, it’s about looking on your game. But if you’re going to be on your feet running from one thing to the next, something expensive might not be the best choice. That’s why I love these affordable suede flats. They instantly add elegance to whatever you’re wearing, making them a must-have for busy weeks.

5. Old Navy Floral Swing Dress

Another necessity for busy weeks is a cute, comfortable dress that works for everything. I’ve been turning to this gorgeous yellow dress from Old Navy¬†because not only is the colour summer-ready, but the swing style makes it great for the office. I’ve received so many compliments on this dress – even when I was buying it in the store! – and it reminds me why Old Navy is always my first stop for shopping.
