These Are a Few of My Favourite (July) Things

It’s almost the end of July! And that means I have a whole month of favourite things that I’m dying to share with you! From traveling to concerts to summer time, this means a conglomeration of things have come into my brain. And now it’s time that you all get in on the hype so we can all get enthusiastic together!

July Favourites, ala Morgan

Meghan Trainor

After seeing the curvy pop princess in action in San Francisco, it’s no wonder she’s one of my favourites this month. I’ve been playing her album on repeat and it is just fantastic!

I finally got to The City! I had such an amazing time there and I’m so lucky to have had this opportunity. It was such a cool experience to walk up and down Nob Hill, eat amazing food (!!!), and drive along the Golden Gate Bridge. Honestly, I can’t wait to go back, it was much too much fun!

30 Rock

If you aren’t as obsessed with the Tina Fey TV classic, then I don’t know what you’re doing. 30 Rock is hilarious, goofy, and rewatching it this month (yes, all 7 seasons in one month) has reminded me why it is one of my absolute favourite TV shows.

Walking

Recently I’ve been getting really into walking – according to my app I’ve been doing about 3 a day. Walking has so many health benefits and overall makes you feel amazing. Just adding a walk to and from work into my routine has benefitted my health and my mental health. So I’ve made walking from my monthly favourite into a lifetime favourite.

Benihana

What happens when the sweetest boyfriend ever decides to surprise you for dinner? You end up at Benihana! Which is totally the coolest restaurant. If you’re unfamiliar with Benihana, it is one of those restaurants where they make the food right in front of you. And if you’re lucky, they’ll do a little dance and juggle for you! I love restaurants where food is interactive, so Benihana definitely made the favourites this month.

Lush

Next to my hotel in San Francisco was a Lush. Lush has handmade soaps, lotions, etc. and all smell amazing and work great. I’d been in one before in Utah, but I didn’t buy anything until now. I now have a Twilight bath bomb and while I haven’t tried it yet, I can’t wait! While I was in the store the assistant also let me try a massage bar. GET ONE GET ONE NOW!

MDSolarSciences Mineral Creme

It’s important that my skin stays sun-protected (says my badly burned legs and chest) and especially for my face. But when I started using this sunscreen on my face, it was like heaven. Goes on smooth, stays matte, and provides day long protection in the sun with SPF 50. If you decide to give it a try, use my Birchbox code!
