8 Beauty Products I Swear By

I may not be a beauty blogger, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t obsess over beauty products. I am a big believer that everyone is beautiful, but you can definitely enhance your beauty with certain products. I thought today I would share the products that I have sworn by over the years (or recent months) so that maybe you can get in on the good stuff. So, let’s check out what I got!

Products That Keep Morgan From Looking Like a Troll

1. St. Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer

$5

The beauty product I’ve been using the longest is this moisturizer. Over the last five years I have been rubbing my face with this creme and it lives up to it’s name wholeheartedly. Even though I am 20, I can definitely tell my skin is not as happy when I go a few days without moisturizing. This moisturizer (a favourite of many) is made with the stuff that people get face lifts for, so you’re basically getting a face lift for $5 instead of $5000. I love this moisturizer more than anything and they need to make a travel size so I can take it on planes.

2. Garnier Fructis Color Shield Color Sealer Lightweight Leave-in Conditioner

$9

About a year ago I ombréd my hair, and until I grow all of it out, that means having to take care of bleached hair. I bought this leave-in conditioner a year ago and haven’t tried another since. I put it in while my hair is still a little damp and it has kept my hair healthy and my split-ends nonexistent. And it is lightweight so I forget that I even have it in my hair 90% of the time. It’s everything I need in a leave-in for a convenient price.

3. E.L.F. Studio Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter

$3

This concealer [in Fair] is the only product I have found that perfectly matches my wonky skin tone. While it works wonders for covering ugly under eye circles and the highlighter opens my eyes up wonderfully, it is also a fantastic face concealer. Because I’m not a big fan of foundation, concealer is how I cover up those odd spots. This one blends perfectly into my skin and isn’t oily. It’s also great for days where I’ll be up and about. Recommend this 10/10.

4. Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

$34

This is a new favourite of mine, but something I have been recommending to everyone. Made with microderm crystals (like for microdermabrasion) and papaya, this amazing face wash leaves my skin silky smooth and banishes acne like none other! Incredibly popular right now, BrightenUp! really has done wonders for my skin. And the feeling of little crystals scrubbing your face at night is very relaxing, so that’s a bonus!

5. Organix Hydrating Moroccan Argan Oil Lotion

$7

What do you want in a good lotion? Smooth skin, shine, good smell and no prolonged stickiness. And this lotion has done all for me. If I put it on after a shower, before I put clothes on my skin is already dry. The great smell and rich, velvety skin it produces also are great reasons I am boasting about this lotion. But the best part is that it makes your skin sparkle like Edward from Twilight in a subtle way in the sun. Trust me, it makes you look fabulous!

6. Marcelle Hydra-C 24H Energizing Hydrating Gel

$24

My current obsession. This creme has done wonders for my skin. I normally put it around my eyes in the morning and by the time I leave for class I don’t look like I’ve been up all night. And if my whole face is a little dingy, putting a little bit all over works really well too. This is by far my favourite purchase lately and I cannot stress how important it is to have a product like this. It makes me go from sleep deprived to good night’s sleep in minutes. PLEASE BUY YOU WILL NOT REGRET. And your under eye circles will thank you.

7. Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray

$5

I discovered this one from my mom. And considering we’ve both been using it for years, obviously it’s a fantastic product. The reason I’ve been using this for my hair protection needs is that it doesn’t weigh down my hair or make it too wet. Because I curl my hair so often, having something that doesn’t make it too wet before I curl it and doesn’t make my curls weighed down, because bouncier is better! And considering I haven’t had split ends in years, it definitely protects my hair.

8. Maybelline Volum’ Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara

$8

I am a big mascara person. Nine times out of 10 it is the only makeup I’m wearing. I love this mascara because it gives me volume and length. I normally only use the wand for lower lashes because it separates my lashes so well. My regular mascara routine: Put a coat of the lower lash wand on all my lashes, followed by a coat of Maybelline Volum’ Express The Mega Plush on my top lashes and a coat of W3LL PEOPLE The Expressionist Mascara on my bottom lashes. Big, fierce lashes with definition!
