Everyday Enthusiasm Day 5: Faves Fridays
Whoo! It’s Friday, time for the weekend! I hope you all are enjoying the ending of your week and are ready for some fun in the sun. In my town we’re currently preparing for the biggest event of the year, so it’s kind of insane.
Because it is Friday, I thought I would share with you my current faves of the week. They are kind of all over the board, but I think you’ll enjoy all of them!
Morgan’s Friday Favourites
I’m a big sunglasses person (I have a pair for every occasion imaginable) and I believe that having the right sunglasses makes the outfit that much more spectacular. This week I’ve found my aviators were the perfect style companion for anything I wore. Plus, you just look about 900% more edgy when wearing aviators. Bonus!
I’ve always loved spinach smoothies (I wrote a post about how to make them) and since going veggie, they’ve been a staple in my diet. Having one in the morning (I’ve started also adding blueberries) keeps me full for most of the day. I had one at eight this morning and I’m still not hungry enough to want lunch. They are the most fantastic of smoothies and good for you, so obviously you should be obsessing over them too!
With as much as I’ve got going on, and with hair that is just unsure of what it wants, I need a hairstyle that is going to look good and not get in my way. That’s why God invented the top bun. Stylish, simple, and is never in your face. I’ve been wearing a top bun most days and with my ombré hair, it just makes the whole effect even better.
I used to make fun of this show so much because I thought it was a soap opera for housewives. Oh, how wrong I was. This show is hilarious, witty, and always has that bit of a dark edge that keeps me on the edge of my seat. I’m only halfway through the first season, but I’m pretty sure I just found my guilty pleasure bed time show.
They have been my obsession for a few weeks, but this is the first time I’ve been able to talk about them. A month or so ago my best friend and I decided to buy a friendship bracelet maker for some out-of-the-sun fun. Unfortunately, neither of us had the energy to do it. Leaving the bracelet maker to me, I ended up becoming infatuated with making new bracelets. I love the colours and the instant “punk rock style” (my dad’s words) and I am just going to make them forever. They are amazing.
Thanks for reading! I hope I’ve found some things for you to get involved in, or maybe you have some of your own favourites that you’d like to share in the comments! As this blog is all about enthusiasms, I love when you guys share yours!
Make sure to check back tomorrow for Song Saturday, where I’ll share my weekend playlist!
