How Many Pale British Boys Can I Fit in One Post? (Man Crush Monday)

A few months ago I went on Instagram on a Monday and noticed that everyone was posting pictures of attractive males with the hashtag #ManCrushMonday.

I thought about joining in on the fun (we all know I love a good picture of someone attractive) but found that if I were to do that I’d be posting basically the same person every Monday. Because, let’s face it, I’ve had the same taste in boys since I was nine. (Before that my only crush had been on Peter Pan.)

Pale, brunette, and with an accent. (Dimples and curly hair optional.)

The first male in my long list of celebrity crushes was Logan Lerman. He might not have an accent, but that hasn’t stopped my decade long lust.

In the ending of middle school my first real encounter with the British accent happened. And I’ve been hooked ever since. Let’s start with my first British crush, Danny Jones, McFly boy band member.

And as each year progressed, I fell less in love with the boys in my school and more in love with pale British boys. Let’s list them, shall we?

Andrew Garfield, wonderful actor with gorgeous brown eyes.

Daniel Sharman, who has become the love of my life. Actor, gorgeous British accent, curly hair, and blue eyes. Marry me.

Harry Styles, One Direction boy band member who I don’t even have to go into detail about. Call your local teenage girl and ask her.

Greg James, BBC Radio 1 host and actually the reason I discovered Ellie Goulding. Whaddaya know?

Finn Harries, YouTuber twin who needs to come to my town. He is…phwoar.

But of course, not everyone attractive comes from Britain (I know, it was hard for me to believe too) and some very cute cuties have emerged in the last few months. First we have Dylan O’Brien, American actor from Teen Wolf, who is basically the only reason I watch that show. Plus, he’s hilarious.

Second we have Ashton Irwin, drummer of Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer, who makes me wish it wasn’t creepy to retweet every one of his tweets because they all make me smile.

So yes, this has been Man Crush Monday. I most likely will never do it again (if it’s pale, British, and brunette, I most likely find it attractive) and I hope that you’ve officially been creeped out enough to never visit this blog again.

KIDDING!

Thank you guys for being here with me for all these years and being so supportive. I figured this was a fun way to keep you entertained on this July Monday (and to keep up with all those trend setters!)

I am currently headed to Portland, OR to see Bruno Mars in concert! I am so excited! Plus, Ellie Goulding is going to be there and I might pee my pants in happiness! But I won’t.

I hope you all enjoy your Monday and keep up-to-date with my Twitter and Instagram (links below) for all my exciting concert goodness!

Stay classy Internet,

P.S. the answer to the title is 6.

  1. How do I deal with someones death? Some if you might know her, she’s a simming youtuber named Quxxn and she recently died. She was really an inspiration to me and now I’m crying big ol’ crocodile tears because she’s gone.

    1. Amari,

The best thing to do is to know that they are now in a better place. By the way, crocodile tears means insincere tears, so I wouldn’t use that term when describing the loss of your inspiration.
