I have many hobbies. Writing, interior design, traveling, crossword puzzles, making lists, etc. Hobbies are a good way to make yourself a well-rounded, interesting individual. That’s why I have so many. My newest hobby is something under-appreciated but very addicting: crochet.
My friend Katy from KatySueSays took time out of her busy schedule and taught me how to crochet. And now I’m hooked! After spending three hours in her room laughing at my failed attempts at not twisting the yarn around, I can say that it’s one of my favorite things to do now. Crochet is relatively easy to do, and once you get the hang of it you’ll be making enough pot holders to last you your entire life!
Having a hobby is so important, and not just to be a well-rounded person. They mold you. If your hobby is football, your life molds around your schedule and training. If your hobby is video games, your life molds around your sun exposure and the latest release of Zelda. What I’m saying is that your hobbies aren’t just what you do with your free time. They make you who you are.
I take pride in my hobbies, they are part of what defines Morgan. Don’t be afraid to show off your love of making bracelets or playing the tuba. Share the love! Who knows, maybe you’ll find a fellow enthusiast. You are a great person and your hobbies are great. Share yourself with the world and you might be surprised by how much you have in common.
Have a great weekend! I know I will I’m traveling to Colorado!
