This is it folks, this is the end of my Junior year. I made it though my classes with more A’s than B’s, no grey hairs, and no psychological breaks. It’s amazing to me that I’ve made it this far.
You all watched me this year as I experienced a handful of new things. I mean, attending my first high school dance, taking my SATs, those were pretty large events that you all were around to support me on. I don’t think I can ever express to all of you how much it means to come onto my stats page every day and seeing comments and likes. It fills my heart with so much love that I almost topple over sometimes. Anyway, I went through all my posts from the last year and found the ones related to school and other big events, so that we can just remember what a crazy year it was.
High School, Oh My!
This one is all about my first day of school this year. I remember how hard it was for me, being in all these new classes with all these new teachers and feeling like I didn’t have a friend in the world. I’m really happy that I have grown into the year and came out a lot stronger and happier than I would have thought on September 1st.
This was all about my first year really participating in Homecoming Week. It seems so long ago now, but I remember Homecoming Week to be such a fantastic week of dress-ups, events, and memories. I especially remember the crazy get-ups on Tuesday.
Finals Junior year are one of the toughest finals you will face. I fought really hard to get through mine, and ended up with a 4.0 both semesters. Personally, I find finals to be a time of “Do not mess with Morgan unless you enjoy dying” kind of time, so I’m working on being more relaxed next year.
The Past 24 Hours
This really was one of the craziest days of my year. Between DJ choosing and SAT taking, it was one of the times where everything goes in slow motion but when it’s all done, everything feels like it went by in the blink of an eye.
A Post in Which I May or May Not Brag About My Birthday
I turned 17 this year, which I think is a pretty big accomplishment. I reached another year in my life. It’s great that you all got to be included in my celebration, no matter how small it really was.
Invasion of the Mouth Occupiers
Braces! It’s true that something as simple as having metal glued to your teeth can change your life. However, you choose whether it is a positive or negative change. I’ve decided that it is positive, as I will get fantastic teeth in a little over a year!
Thank you all for sharing such a fantastic school year with me and just being there. You are all such great human beings and I can’t wait to share the next one with you!
