I Give Thanks for My Readers

I hope everyone had a really nice Thanksgiving. I know I did.

I did not have my traditional Thanksgiving. I usually spend it at home with just my immediate family. This year we drove eight hours and had dinner with my grandmother and her eternal fiancĂ©. Well, usually during Thanksgiving, as we are gorging ourselves with stuffing and turkey, we go around the table and talk about what we are thankful for. My family usually gets really teary, but it’s a tradition that I have grown quite fond of.

Below I have composed a list of things I am thankful for and why.

  • My family. They do so much for me and are such fantastic people. I love them so much and I really can’t imagine my life without them.
  • My friends. Another group of truly wonderful people in my life. They mean so much to me and it’s so weird when I’m not with them. Like being eight hours away, I find myself writing on my best friend’s Facebook Wall, telling her how much I miss her. My friend’s are so great and I hope they know how much I love them.
  • My readers. I don’t care if you are a dedicated reader or even someone who just happens across my blog by accident, I am thankful for you. You give me hope that someone out there cares what I’m writing and that I need to keep on doing it. You spark my love of writing and let me feel like I’m not just writing posts for no one to see. You really are wonderful. I can’t even think of a way to express my gratitude to you in any plausible way. It’s just too big. So, I’m giving you all these presents as the best gift I can try to give you.

And that’s what I’m thankful for. I wish I could just give every person I’m thankful for a gift, but as I don’t know all of them, this is really all I can do. I hope you like it.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you really enjoyed your Thanksgiving and enjoy the holidays.

Joyeuses fĂȘtes!
