Stumble Saturday: The Beach

This week’s Stumble Saturday is brought to you from iain.codejoust.com!

Many of you don’t know that I have lived a vast majority of my life in the state of California, a total of 6 years. I mean, beaches, sunny weather, and shorts were my life. Until I was 8.

A lot of people have that stereotype that girls from California are blonde, sporty, and constantly wear bikinis. But not all of us turn out that way. I’m brunette, a blogger who doesn’t do sports, and I like to wear sweaters and jeans. Go figure.

I loved living in California. It was sunny and pleasant almost every day, I went to the beach almost every weekend, and the grass was always green. It was a fantastic place to live. But of course, I now know it wasn’t the place for me. But it was nice to have a chance to live there.

What was your favorite part of going to the beach?
Most definitely going to this fantastic place I found. If you traveled to the left for about ten minutes, there was this little area that was completely made of rocks and you could watch people surf while being in the shade.

What was your least favorite part?
The sand wasn’t exactly as perfect-looking as it seems in cartoons. You’d always get stuff on your feet like tar. And that stuff takes forever to come off.

Want to come to the beach with me?
Oh yeah! Let’s do it! I might not want to live in California, but I love going to the beach. It’s fun and friendly and just a great place to be with friends. So let’s go to the beach. I’ll race you!
