Tomorrow Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 comes out! Finally!
Technically, it comes out in 2 and a half hours. But technical is for computers.
I’m super excited to talk about this, especially because tomorrow we actually finish the end of a decade of fantastic films. And that really saddens me. So I’m going to give you a synopsis of the film and then my experience watching it. And then, of course, my favorite Harry Potter moments.
The first part of the ending films of the Harry Potter series, Harry decides to go looking for the rest of the Horcruxes. Hermione and Ron join him. The three end up being hunted down in the woods, searching in all the wrong places, being successful in only a few ways, and in the end, really testing their friendship. It takes a really scary, slit-eyed dude to really show the love and support of the friends that has lasted in the last 6 movies. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is super fantastic and the design team did an amazing job. My rating: 10/10 wizarding hats
My Experience Watching It:
Do you all know the part where Harry goes to see Bathilda Bagshot and when he turns around Nagini jumps out of Bathilda’s body and attacks him? Well, when I went to go see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 I sat between two friends, one who hadn’t seen it and one who had. As we were sitting in the dark theatre and this happened, my friend who had seen the film before decided to grab my arm. I nearly peed myself I was so scared. This year, when we go see the second part, I have already decided to not sit next to her. That’s just how freaked out I was. I didn’t talk to her for two days.
My Favorite HP Moments:
- When Hermione punches Malfoy in the face.
- When Ron pukes slugs. Gross but great job by the director.
- When Lupin turns into a werewolf and Sirius changes into a dog and they fight. Awesome. The werewolf was better than Twilight’s.
- When Harry stabs Riddle’s dairy. Super epic.
- When the friends go back in time in the 3rd film and Hermione throws the stone at the window. It was really trippy.
- When Cedric dies. Sad but it definitely brought you back to earth.
And that’s it. It’s the end of Countdown to Harry Potter. Thank you to everyone who has read. I know you could have been doing way better things with your time, but your support means the world. I’ll be going back to normal posting in the next week, but I’ll also include my opinion of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 when I go see it, whenever that may be. I’ve got a busy schedule. But seriously, thank you so much for your support. I’d be nowhere without you. Thank you!!!!!
