Nerd Post #4 – Nerd Films

Since the early ’90s, the world has been coming up with these little things called films. They’ve inspired our nation, our people, the way we live our lives. Because of these masterpieces that people have created, people’s whole lives have changed. And some of them have just made us laugh.

I love films for millions of different reasons. They make us laugh, help us learn things, they can even help us change our lifestyles and do something productive.

Below are some really great films that contain some of the best nerds of all times. And if you don’t believe me, well, you can live your life however you please.

Revenge of the Nerds

A truly comical film (with the word Nerd in the title) about two nerds who go off to university and fight, with the help of other nerds and losers, to get the respect from the extremely more muscular, popular antagonists, The Jocks.

Napoleon Dynamite

Personally I find this movie really stupid. But if you are in the mood for a good laugh, well, all I can say is “Vote for Pedro!”

Sixteen Candles

Meet Ted the Farmer, the best nerd of all time. Not only is this a good movie, but it was directed by John Hughes, contains Molly Ringwald, is completely inspiring, and has tons of really fantastic quotable lines.

Superbad

A timeless classic for any teenager, this film brings back those memories of crazy times in our adolescent lives. McLovin is our nerd, and quite a few of us can relate to this ‘lovin’ character.

Back to the Future

I’m sorry, but if you don’t know that George McFly is the nerd in this film, you need to get your head checked.

So, those are my nerd films. They aren’t really like “Oh! Look at me! I’m all about nerds!” But they do have nerd characters, which always make a film a little bit better. I hope you enjoyed reading and will go scramble to your Netflix queue and add this films on it!
